Lebo Mothiba is clubless after being released by French side RC Strasbourg in July 2024.
The 29-year-old has endured an injury-plagued time in recent seasons and after initially training with Strasbourg this term, he resurfaced at Sundowns where coach Miguel Cardoso has explained his stance on the forward.

WHAT CARDOSO SAID
"Lebo Mothiba is in the last stages of his recovery," said Cardoso as per KickOff.
"So, he is already integrated into the group, making some work with the group.
He left for France as a teenager from Diambars Academy and if he is to sign with Sundowns, that would be his first contract with a local professional club.
Spending time at Chloorkop might have familiarised him with the local football scene and the high standards demanded at the Pretoria club.
