    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Amajita coach Raymond Mdaka hoped to have two stars, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Shandre Campbell, who missed the U20 AFCON triumph, make the World Cup squad.

Mbokazi has been a hit for both Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana, explaining why it was going to be tough to have him for the competition despite pleas from SAFA.

Nevertheless, Campbell, who had been training with the team, was expected to be included.

Coach Mdaka has opted to do without Pirates players, but Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs dominate the squad.
