The Glamour Boys failed to get a win in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where they played AS Simba in the CAF inter-club at the TP Mazembe Stadium. Despite the many chances created, the Soweto giants, who were led by co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.

Kaizer Chiefs and Simba met in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup's second preliminary round on Saturday afternoon.

Despite dictating the tempo, the attackers lacked composure and failed to be clinical in front of the goal, as the game eventually ended goalless.
