    WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Mokwena is likely not to be retained by Wydad after the end of the current season.

That means the South African could miss the Fifa Club World Cup, a tournament that would have tested his capabilities.

Just like some North African clubs, Wydad are known not to be patient with coaches.

    WHAT NEXT FOR WYDAD?

Wydad are left with four league matches before the season ends and that is the opportunity they have to finish the term in the top two.

However, everything is not in their hands as they will have to rely on FAR Rabat to falter to settle for second spot behind leaders RSB Berkane.
