The Brazilians kicked off the new season with victory in Limpopo and their performance triggered some response from fans.

Mamelodi Sundowns began their 2023/24 Premier Soccer League campaign with a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United on Friday.

It was an ill-tempered match which saw each side ending with a man down following red cards to Vusimuzi Mncube and Rivaldo Coetzee.
