Ex-Orlando Pirates coach Fadlu Davids drops points for the first time at the helm of Raja Casablanca after home frustration against MAS Fes

The former Buccaneers coach was in his second game in charge of the Green Eagles and failed to guide his team to collecting maximum points at home. Coaching a demanding club with fans who are not patient with coaches or underperforming players, the South African will have to record a win in their next match.

    Raja Casablanca were held 1-1 by MAS Fes in a Botola Pro League match at Mohammed V Stadium on Friday.

    Substitute Yunes Najari put the Green Eagles ahead before their victors equalised towards the end.

    Fadlu drops points for the first time

    It was Davids' second game in charge of Raja, having recently been appointed as their head coach.

    After starting his tenure with a 2-0 victory over Difaa El Jadidi away, the Moroccan giants then failed to win for the first time under Davids.

    The former Orlando Pirates coach will be hoping the home draw will not have Raja's impatient fans turn against him.

    Missed opportunity

    Following the draw, the Moroccan giants failed to overtake the leaders, Wydad Casablanca, at the top of the Botola table.

    They are third in the standings with eight points from three games.

    However, Raja remain unbeaten in the league this season with two wins and as many draws.
