Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with Azam star Feisal Salum as the Premier Soccer League January player transfer window has opened.
The attacking midfielder impressively found the back of the net 19 times for Tanzanian side Azam last season and he is among the best players in East Africa.
Salum’s contract situation at Azam has been the subject of much speculation, with some believing he would become a free agent at the end of the season - making it possible for Chiefs to sign him for free.
The Tanzania international has got Azam spokesperson Hashim Ibwe opening up on the Chiefs rumours as Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi is on the hunt for a new striker.
