12-goal European striker finds new home after sending come-get-me plea to Kaizer Chiefs as Nasreddine Nabi searches for reliable forward

Former TS Galaxy forward Dzenan Zajmovic has resurfaced in Iran, where he has signed for Zob Ahan after scoring 12 goals in all competitions for the Rockets last season. 

After being linked with Kaizer Chiefs, the Bosnian-Belgian has moved on after following a period where he was ready to listen to offers from Premier Soccer League clubs.  

Zajmovic has resurfaced in Iran at a time when he was being strongly linked with Chiefs.

After it was announced that he had left TS Galaxy, the Belgian-Bosnian appeared headed to Chiefs, but he disclosed that he was not happy with what he was offered in the PSL.

 This comes as Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi has been in the hunt for a striker to fix their attacking frailties that have bedevilled the Soweto giants over the years.  

Chiefs have signed Flavio Silva as the only striker during this current transfer window.

Although they have won their two PSL games this season, they are still expected to sign a number nine before the transfer window closes on September 22.
