Despite the restricted minutes, Sterling is adamant that his physical condition is rapidly improving as he seeks to rediscover his best form in Rotterdam.

Robin van Persie has gone to great lengths to accommodate Raheem Sterling at Feyenoord as the ex-Manchester City and Chelsea winger continues to wait on a work permit.
