Kenyan striker, Michael Olunga loan spell in Spanish LaLiga is not going as was expected by many.

The lanky Harambee Stars striker has found it hard breaking into to FC Girona’s starting XI since he secured a season-long move from Chinese Super League last August.

The former Tusker and Gor Mahia forward has only clocked 92 minutes in four LaLiga appearances and 155 minutes for Girona in his two appearances in Copa del Rey.

Sitting 10th on the log, Girona’s priority will be to remain on the top next season while Olunga’s agent should start thinking of his next destination, even as hopes of returning to China remains a pipe dream following the introduction of foreign quota in the Asian nation.

Valencia came from a goal down to secure maximum points after Christian Potu gave Girona the lead in under 10 minutes from kick off.

Goncalo Guede leveled things up at Mestalla Stadium before Daniel Parejo doubled Valencia’s lead from the spot in the second half.

Valencia moved to third behind leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
