Man United team news: Lukaku and Alexis dropped against Bournemouth

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has dropped both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez for Wednesday's Premier League clash against Bournemouth.

The Portuguese warned after the 1-0 home loss to West Brom on Sunday that he would make wholesale changes for the trip to the south coast and he has been as good as his word, with places up for grabs for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.

Lukaku sits out a league start for only the second time all season, while Nemanja Matic's 100 per cent appearance record in the first XI has gone. Sanchez is another dropped to the bench, while Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Juan Mata and Victor Lindelof also miss out.
