The pick of Wednesday night’s Premier League action comes from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea host Tottenham in a crunch clash.

Spurs missed the chance to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City as they were stunned 2-1 at Burnley on Saturday lunchtime, whilst the Blues have won just two of their last six league matches.

It is worth noting that Tottenham have scored first in 10 of those matches, going on to win nine of those and losing only once - at Watford back in September.

The Blues, meanwhile, have opened the scoring in 9 of their 13 homes games and have won seven of those, although the two they failed to win came against Liverpool and Manchester United, respectively.
