That's all for today, goodbye!
Portugal are into the round of 16 with a game to spare, and will just need a point against South Korea to finish top of the group in their final match. Uruguay can still qualify for the knockout rounds, but they'll need to beat Ghana and hope South Korea don't win.
Portugal are through to the knockout stages after a 2-0 win over Uruguay. Portugal took the lead with their first shot on target. Fernandes curled what was supposed to be a cross straight into the net, and though Ronaldo tried to claim a deft header, he didn't get a touch. Gomez hit the post for Uruguay before Suarez and De Arrascaete also came close. A dubious handball decision went against Gimenez and Fernandes coolly slotted the penalty home, before being denied a hat-trick by the post deep in stoppage time.
90' + 9' OFF THE POST! Fernandes comes so close to a hat-trick! It's good work from Leao at the byline as he pulls it back to Fernandes on the edge of the box. He sets himself before drilling a low shot back towards the near post, but it smacks off the woodwork.
90' + 8' GOOD SAVE! It's well worked by Portugal down their left this time and Guerreiro lifts a deep cross into the far post. Fernandes is unmarked as he runs onto it and he fires it towards goal first time, but Rochet saves it with his legs.
90' + 7' Fernandes is the first Portugal player with two goals and two assists in a World Cup tournament since 1966 (Jose Augusto and Jose Torres both did so).
90' + 5' Portugal are still dominating possession here, and they're pushing for a third as Silva bursts forward down the right again. He has two in support in the box, but he can't find a way past Coates.
Bruno Fernandes
Penalty Goal
90' + 3' FERNANDES SCORES! He wasn't originally stood over the spot-kick, but he coolly steps up to take it. It's a slow run-up and he stutters it just in front of the ball before doing his trademark hop and calmly slotting the ball down the left of the goal, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0 Portugal!
90' + 2' Uruguay are not happy with the awarding of the penalty, and it does seem a harsh call by the referee. The ball is on the spot for Portugal, but they can't take it yet due to the number of players arguing in the box.
90' PENALTY TO PORTUGAL! The referee is called over to the monitor to have a look at the handball incident. Fernandes slid the ball through Gimenez's legs and as he dropped down, the defender's hand lands on it behind his back. It was completely accidental, but the referee points to the spot!
Rúben Dias
Yellow Card
89' Dias is continuing the protests over the handball by Gimenez and he goes into the book for dissent.
88' Vina's cross is blocked and Fernandes is able to set Portugal on a quick counter by sliding it down the right for Silva. He holds it up well before squaring it back to Fernandes. He's claiming his throughball hit a hand in the box, but the referee shakes his head.
M. Viña
M. Olivera
86' Last roll of the dice for Uruguay now as Vina comes on to replace Olivera.
84' Portugal break quickly on the counter, with Fernandes sliding it forward for Leao, who has space through the middle. He decides to take on the shot from range, but it rolls wide of the far post.
João Palhinha
William Carvalho
82' And Carvalho is the other player taken off, with Palhinha on for him.
Gonçalo Ramos
Cristiano Ronaldo
82' Ronaldo is also going off, with Ramos replacing him.
Matheus Nunes
João Félix
82' Final changes for Portugal now as they make a triple swap. Joao Felix is the first to make way, with Nunes on in his place.
81' Fernandes has been directly involved in seven goals in his last five Portugal appearances (four goals, three assists).
79' SAVE! Uruguay have come to life here and Valverde slides a lovely throughball into De Arrascaeta. Costa rushes off his line, forcing the substitute to rush his shot, and he fires it straight at the keeper.
78' CLOSE! De Arrascaeta swings the free-kick from the left to the near post and Gomez throws himself forward but can't make contact. It bounces through to Suarez in the six-yard box and he spins before firing just wide.
João Félix
Yellow Card
77' It's a clumsy one from Joao Felix as he catches Suarez with the follow-through and he's shown a yellow card.
75' OFF THE POST! Pellistri is causing all sorts of problems down the right, and he squares it to Gomez inside the D. He takes the shot first time, and it curls past Costa but smacks off the near post.
L. Suárez
E. Cavani
73' And Suarez is also coming on to replace Cavani.
M. Gómez
D. Núñez
72' Another double change for Uruguay now, and it's both of the forwards that are going off. Nunez is the first to make way, with Gomez on for him.
71' Uruguay are getting a lot of joy down their right side as Varela curls another dangerous cross into the box. Dias' header loops towards Cavani, who is gearing up for an overhead kick before Carvalho comes in behind him to clear it.
Rafael Leão
Rúben Neves
69' Portugal are making their second change now, and it's Neves that's taken off and replaced by Leao.
68' It's another promising move from Uruguay as they try to pass their way through the box. Pellistri loses Guerreiro on the right, but a heavy first touch from him knocks it straight out of play.
66' Uruguay are starting to push more players forward in attack and Pellistri finds himself in space down the right. He puts another good cross into the middle, but Olivera's thumping header is straight against Dias.
64' There's a nervy moment at the back for Portugal as it's played back to Costa, who has Valverde bearing down on him. He gets a slight touch on the clearance, but luckily for the keeper, it bounces away from his net.
F. Pellistri
D. Godín
62' And Godin is also going off, with Pellistri on in his place.
G. de Arrascaeta
M. Vecino
62' There's a double change for Uruguay here as they try to get back into the game. Vecino is the first to make way, with De Arrascaeta on for him.
60' Nunez chests the ball down on the left before spinning past Cancelo to sprint to the edge of the D. He takes on the shot from range, drilling it low down the middle, but it's straight at Costa.
58' CHANCE! It's better from Uruguay here and Varela makes a good run down the right before curling it into the box. Cavani drops back to lose Pepe but then scuffs at the volley and it bounces harmlessly wide of the far post.
56' Uruguay sloppily lose possession in their own half and Ronaldo latches onto the loose ball. He has Joao Felix in space to his left, but he tries to go it alone instead and Godin slides in with a good tackle.
Raphaël Guerreiro
54' Guerreiro knocks it into Fernandes before continuing his run down the left to try and draw the Uruguay defenders away from the midfielder.
Bruno Fernandes
54' FERNANDES SCORES! Portugal open the scoring with their first shot on target in the game! Guerreiro touches it into Fernandes, who looks to run down the left before changing his mind and cutting back inside. He curls what looks like a great cross to Ronaldo in the middle, but it's just too high for him and it beats Rochet. 1-0 Portugal!
52' WIDE! There was a short break in play for a pitch invader, but Portugal move it quickly upfield when the game restarts. Fernandes switches it out to Joao Felix in space on the left of the box, and he drills his low shot into the side netting.
50' Neves was caught by a late challenge from Vecino and he's been down for a long time. He's receiving treatment on his knee, and he's moving gingerly when he gets back up, but he'll be carrying on.
48' Portugal's short corner is cleared by Godin and Uruguay attempt to break on the counter again. Nunez swings a leg at it to get it forward, but it's nowhere near Cavani and Portugal quickly win it back.
46' Portugal get us back underway for the second half!
Santos was a frustrated figure on the touchline as his side struggled to create anything of real note. He'll be looking for a much better performance in the second half, and might look to his bench to inspire them. Uruguay have soaked up the pressure well and arguably, should be ahead. Alonso will be hoping for more of the same but will be urging for a more clinical edge.
It's goalless at the break between Portugal and Uruguay. Portugal dominated possession for the majority of the first half but didn't manage to test Rochet in Uruguay's goal despite getting into some good positions. Uruguay had the golden chance to take the lead in the game though with Bentancur making a brilliant run through Portugal's half before hitting his shot straight at Costa.
45' + 1' Portugal are pushing to find a goal before the break, and they decide to go for a more direct route this time. Costa goes long, looking for Ronaldo, but he'd just drifted offside and the flag goes up.
M. Olivera
Yellow Card
44' Fernandes tried to take a quick free-kick and Olivera ran across to block it. It's a needless yellow card to pick up for the wing-back.
Raphaël Guerreiro
Nuno Mendes
42' Mendes stayed down after an awkward landing and it looks like he hurt his neck. He goes straight down the tunnel after treatment, with Guerreiro coming on to replace him.
40' Valverde was made to wait to take the free-kick as the referee stops the pushing in the box. He eventually curls it in from the right, but it's too high for everyone.
Rúben Neves
Yellow Card
38' Varela has a lot of space down the right and Neves takes one for the team by dragging him back. It earns him a yellow card.
37' Fernandes' powerful long-range shot is blocked and it bounces out to Cancelo on the right. He clips a deep cross into Ronaldo who chests it down before poking it into the six-yard box, but Joao Felix can't control it.
36' Another quick break by Bentancur almost catches Portugal out as he switches it out to Olivera on the left. He tries to return the one-two, but it's just out of Bentancur's reach on the stretch and it rolls wide.
34' Uruguay cheaply lose the ball on the halfway line and Silva bursts forward down the left. He turns to cross it, but there are no Portuguese players in the box and the attack fizzles out.
32' GREAT CHANCE! Vecino just nudges it into Bentancur's path in the centre circle, and he makes a brilliant run right through the middle. He dribbles past two on the edge of the box before firing his shot straight at Costa, who spreads himself to make the save.
30' It's better from Uruguay here as they patiently work it upfield. Olivera is starting to find pockets of space down the left, but he can't pick out a team-mate with his cross.
28' Mendes gets Portugal upfield with another long throw-in, but Ronaldo slices at it and gifts the ball to Valverde. He has two ahead of him, but can't pick them out with a throughball.
26' It's still all Portugal here as they patiently work it out from the back. Uruguay are trying to press them high upfield, but they're getting nowhere near the ball at the moment.
24' Ronaldo's floated cross is over everyone, but Fernandes picks it up on the far side. He fizzes a cross into Silva at the near post, but he can't sort his feet out quickly enough, and the chance goes to waste for Portugal.
22' Uruguay are struggling to keep the ball when they do manage to get it out of their own half. Cavani looks to set Nunez away through the middle, but Dias steps in to intercept it.
20' Portugal push forward on another attack and it's swept out to Mendes on the left again. His cross is cleared, as is Cancelo's on the far side, but it bounces out to Neves. He drills it down the middle, but Godin blocks it.
18' It's a clumsy challenge from Vecino on Mendes and Portugal have a free-kick just outside the box. Ronaldo steps up to take it but hits it straight against the wall to win a corner.
16' It's a lovely pass out to Joao Felix by Silva and he cuts inside before hitting a shot from the edge of the box. It takes a big deflection off Gimenez and Rochet scrambles back to his line just in time to see it loop wide.
14' Uruguay have won four of their last five World Cup matches against European nations (including the 2-1 win over Portugal), though they did lose to France in their last such outing. They had won just two of their previous 25 such games before this run (D8 L15).
12' Uruguay take the corner short and it's swung into the middle by Olivera. He picks out Gimenez, who rises above everyone else, but his header loops over the bar onto the roof of the net.
10' Ronaldo squares it into the middle for Fernandes, and he looks to thread it through the gap for Silva to run onto. Godin reads the danger well though and slides in with a vital challenge to block it.
8' Portugal go long with the free-kick and it's a good switch out to Ronaldo, who leaps high to nod it down for Fernandes. He gets his head up before drilling a low shot across goal from range, but it rolls harmlessly wide.
R. Bentancur
Yellow Card
6' Bentancur is slow to get across to Dias and just steps on the defender's heel with his studs when he reaches him. He's shown an early yellow card.
4' Mendes goes extremely long with a throw-in down the left and picks Ronaldo out near the byline. He cushions it into Carvalho using his shoulder, and the midfielder hits it first time on the volley, but it flies over.
2' Cancelo is caught on the ball by Nunez and Uruguay have the first chance to push forward. Olivera plays a clever one-two with Cavani on the edge of the box before he takes aim, but his shot is always heading wide.
1' Nunez gets the game underway for Uruguay!
The teams are out on the pitch, the national anthems have been sung, and kick-off is just moments away!
Portugal have won just one of their last 13 group-stage games at the World Cup (W7 D5), going down 4-0 against Germany in 2014. They've won their second match in five of their seven previous appearances at the tournament, failing only in 1986 (0-1 v Poland) and 2014 (2-2 v United States).
Diego Alonso also makes three changes from the draw with South Korea last time and switches formation to three at the back. Coates, Varela and Cavani come into the side, with Caceres, Pellistri and Suarez starting on the bench.
Fernando Santos makes just three changes to the side that beat Ghana on Thursday, with Pepe, Mendes and Carvalho all being brought in. Guerreiro drops to the bench, Otavio is out with a thigh injury and Danilo Pereira is also unavailable after fracturing his ribs in training.

Portugal have the opportunity to qualify for the round of 16 with a game to spare if they win here today. They held on to record a 3-2 victory over Ghana in their opening match in the tournament, with Cristiano Ronaldo becoming the first player to score in five different World Cups during that game. It was a more frustrating start for Uruguay, who hit the woodwork twice during their 0-0 draw with South Korea on Thursday. However, the last meeting between these sides was in 2018, when the South American side won 2-1 in the round of 16 to knock Portugal out of the World Cup.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the World Cup Group H meeting between Portugal and Uruguay at the Lusail Iconic Stadium!
