Egypt name foreign-based contingent for Congo showdown

Egypt have announced a list of 14 foreign-based players for next month's World Cup qualifier against Congo.

The Pharaohs, leaders of Group E, will play hosts to the Red Devils at Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria on October 8.

A home victory, coupled with a negative result for second-placed Uganda in their clash with Ghana, will guarantee the Pharaohs a World Cup ticket for the first time since 1990.
