Aston Villa take on Sunderland in the Premier League. Here’s how you can secure your tickets

Former Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has admitted that the high standard of competition in the Saudi Pro League caught him off guard following his move to Al-Hilal. Despite spending years testing himself in England's top flight, the 30-year-old forward has been impressed by the technical and physical demands of Middle Eastern football.

Unai Emery could not hide his disappointment after Aston Villa were forced to settle for a point in a frustrating 1-1 draw against Fulham at Villa Park. Despite taking the lead, the Villans failed to capitalise on their early dominance, leaving the manager to rue a series of missed opportunities.

Jamie Carragher has admitted he was wrong to aim an X-rated insult at Aston Villa supporters following his suggestion that Manchester United should target Unai Emery. The former Liverpool defender clarified his comments after the Midlands club sensationally threatened him with legal action.
