El fútbol rumano se ha visto sacudido por la noticia de que el legendario entrenador Mircea Lucescu ha sufrido un infarto agudo de miocardio apenas un día después de dimitir de su cargo en la selección nacional. El técnico, de 80 años, había sido hospitalizado a principios de semana tras sufrir un desmayo durante una reunión del equipo, lo que supone un trágico giro de los acontecimientos para una de las figuras más respetadas de este deporte.
