AC Milan have been hit by a devastating double injury blow as winger Alexis Saelemaekers faces the prospect of a long-term absence due to recurring ankle issues. The Belgian international is set to undergo specialist consultations to determine if a second operation is required on a problem that first surfaced two years ago.
Saelemaekers’ 2026 is already over and AC Milan will also be able to consider a signing from the free agents to make up for his absence (and Estupinan’s too).
Portugal manager Jorge Jesus has heaped praise on striker Goncalo Ramos, tipping the forward to become a vital asset for Ruben Amorim at AC Milan. Following a productive international break, the veteran coach believes the former Benfica star is reaching a new level of maturity in his game.
