Dele Alli has posted a fitness update on Instagram as he continues to search for a new club. The former England international remains without a club, having left Serie A club Como in 2025. He has also, of course, played for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton but remains club-less despite his work off the pitch.

Dele Alli is reportedly in line for a sensational return to MK Dons, the club where he began his professional career. The former Tottenham and Everton star, who has won 37 international caps for England, has been a free agent since being released by Serie A outfit Como in September, but is now stepping up his latest comeback bid.

Dele Alli’s downfall remains “difficult” to understand, with Roberto Di Matteo - who saw the ex-England international taking his first steps towards senior stardom - urging the former Tottenham midfielder to “enjoy life”. Dele finds himself at another important career crossroads after seeing his contract surprisingly terminated by Serie A side Como.

Dele Alli has flopped at Como, with former team-mate Dean Lewington explaining why Jose Mourinho is partly to blame for a stunning fall from grace.
