The Cherries are looking to bring the 36-year-old in on loan for the remainder of the 2016-17 Premier League season

Bournemouth have made an enquiry to Chelsea about the possibility of signing John Terry on loan, according to Sky Sports.

The 36-year-old has played just five Premier League games under Antonio Conte this season, and Cherries boss Eddie Howe is looking to capitalise on his lack of gametime by bringing him to Dean Court for the rest of the campaign.

Howe has seen on-loan Nathan Ake go the other way this week, with the full-back being recalled by his parent club. The Bournemouth manager wants to strengthen his backline, and sees Terry as the experienced player he needs to add stability.
