Meza open to Inter move - agent


The agent of Independiente star Maxi Meza has admitted that his client could be open to a move to Inter.

Speaking to Calciomercato, he said: "It's a huge club - but there are many big clubs interested in him. More offers will come at the end of the year."

Messi picks three candidates for Barca job


Lionel Messi has picked out three potential candidates to replace Ernesto Valverde at the end of the current campaign, according to Don Balon.

Valverde could move on in the summer with no sign of a new contract being offered at present, and Messi has highlighted Laurent Blanc as the ideal replacement.

The Argentine has apparently also identified former Premier League managers Ronald Koeman and Michael Laudrup as potential options.

Harvey Elliott is a target for both Barcelona and Chelsea, the London Evening Standard reports, although he will not turn 16 until next spring.

He has trained with the Cottagers' first team already and they hope Ryan Sessegnon's success can persuade him to stay.

Liverpool not interested in Rabiot


Liverpool have no interest in signing Adrien Rabiot from PSG this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds had been heavily linked with the French midfielder, who is available on a free transfer next summer, but Jurgen Klopp is happy with his midfield options.

Indeed, the German spent almost £100 million ($129m) on Naby Keita and Fabinho in the summer.

USA youngster joins Atlanta after failed Man Utd move


Will Vint has joined Atlanta United after visa issues prevented him joining Manchester United, per ESPN.

The USA Under-18 international was signed by United after a successful trial, but he was unable to obtain a visa scuttled his chances of playing for the club's Under-18 side this season, and he has now returned to his homeland.

Milan keeping tabs on Fabregas


Milan are keeping tabs on Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, per Corriere dello Sport.

The Serie A club tried to sign the Spain international when he was at Arsenal, and their interest has been reignited by his struggle for game time under Maurizio Sarri.

Courtois: Fans don't know the truth


Thibaut Courtois has been left saddened by the anger directed towards him by Chelsea fans following his switch to Real Madrid.

The Belgian goalkeeper has revealed that he did not show up for pre-season training because he didn't want to upset the team, given his move had been agreed upon as early as March.

The Spanish giants spoke with the Frenchman directly

Barcelona were in direct contact with Paul Pogba this summer, per Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish giants were desperate to sign the France international, and continue to hope that a deal may be possible in January.

Pogba has stated that he would like to play with Lionel Messi, and it is understood that he only wants to join either Barca or former employers Juventus.

Barcelona are set to have talks Gerard Pique regarding his off-field activities as the concerns grow within the club over the centre-back's commitment, Mundo Deportivo reports.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Timothy Weah revealed his mother played a big part in convincing him to remain with the Ligue 1 champions, though he may reconsider going out on loan in January.  

“It was a family decision,” Weah told reports of his decision to not go out on loan. “My mom, she thought I am still really young and tender. There’s still some stuff to work on."

Griezmann: I want to finish my career in MLS


In an interview with L'Equipe, Antoine Griezmann reiterated his desire to finish his career in Major League Soccer. 

Griezmann only recently signed a new deal with Atletico Madrid, but the 27-year-old sees himself in the U.S. in the future. 

"I want to finish in MLS, then we will see if it will be in Los Angeles or Miami," Griezmann said. "They are two good cities. I like their mentality and the showbiz culture.”

Dybala wants to join Real Madrid

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala wants to move to Real Madrid, claims Don Balon.

Dybala has become disillusioned at Juve after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, and has previously desired a move to Barcelona to join up with his countryman Lionel Messi. 

But Barca are no longer interested in Dybala, meaning the prolific 24-year-old has turned his focus toward becoming the next 'Galactico' at Madrid. 

Terry: I'm not ready to retire yet


Former Aston Villa and Chelsea defender John Terry has told the Daily Mail that he is not ready to call time on his career just yet. 

Terry, 37, is currently a free agent after spending one season at Villa, and says he has four offers on the table, including one from a Premier League team. 

"I'm still hungry to go and play if everything around it is right," said the former England international.

Visa issues prevent U.S. youth star from joining Man Utd


Will Vint has joined Atlanta United's academy after visa issues prevented him from signing with Manchester United, ESPN FC reports. 

The 16-year-old midfielder signed with United following a trial in July, and was set to play for the club's U-18 side this year. 

But Vint's inability to obtain a visa means he will instead join up with the MLS club's academy. 

Bayern rejected €10m PSG offer for Sanches


PSG offered €10 million (£9m/$12m) plus a possible €10m in bonuses for Renato Sanches in the last week of August, according to Le10Sport

Bayern rejected the offer for the Portuguese midfielder, as it was not sufficient to let go of the 21-year-old.

Sanches is back with Bayern after a difficult loan spell at Swansea last season, but has yet to make a regular season appearance so far in 2018-19.

Barca, Chelsea and City tracking Fulham teenager


Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City are just some of the teams tracking Fulham midfielder Harvey Elliott, reports the Evening Standard.

Elliott is just 15, but has been invited to train with Fulham's first team this week with several of the club's players away on international duty. 

Borussia Dortmund are also following the England U-15 star.
