A return to Madrid is on the cards for the reigning champs

Believe it or not, it's not Liverpool, though they are certainly up there at 4/1 to retain the trophy. Manchester City are considered the slight favourites to lift the cup this season at 3/1 and that's despite the fact they trail the Reds on the domestic front. Gerrard's Rangers have their work cut out...

Manchester United are among the strong favourites to win this season's Europa League at 6/1, while Arsenal aren't too far behind, though the Gunners' chances took a hit following the draw. Sevilla have something of a love affair with this tournament and they've emerged as a frontrunner at 6/1 too, with Inter, Ajax, Wolves and Roma also considered realistic challengers.&nbsp; Celtic are definite outsiders at 40/1, but Rangers are given next to no chance with odds of 100/1 on them winning.

• Manchester United beat Club Brugge 7-1 on aggregate in the 2015-16 Champions League play-offs (3-1 h, 4-0 a). •&nbsp;Olympiakos and Arsenal have met in eight previous European games, winning four apiece. • Celtic and Copenhagen both recorded a home win when the teams met in the 2006-07 Champions League group stage. •&nbsp;It will be Wolves' first game against a Spanish club since losing 9-2 on aggregate to Barcelona&nbsp;in the 1959-60 European Cup quarter-finals. 🔮Potential draw line-up!

The fixtures for the 2019-20 Champions League last 16 will be played in February 2020. The first legs will take place on February 18 and 19. The second legs will then be played on February 25 and 26.

Events get under way in Switzerland in half an hour's time at 11am GMT (6am ET). ⏳ Just 30 minutes to go!

The draw is fairly straightforward. A team is drawn from the seeded pot and then paired with a team from the unseeded pot. However, some restrictions apply. Teams from the same national association cannot be drawn together, likewise teams from the same group. So, for example, while Barcelona are seeded and Real Madrid are unseeded, they will not face each other at this point. Similarly, Barcelona cannot get Borussia Dortmund, since they qualified from the same group.

After a hard-fought group stage campaign, the Champions League competitors have been narrowed down to 16. They are divided into two pots (seeded and unseeded) for the purposes of the draw.
