Lacazette makes record-breaking start to Arsenal life

Alexandre Lacazette is off to a fantastic start for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

After scoring the first of his two goals in the 20th minute of a 2-0 win over West Brom on Monday, the French forward now has scored in his first three home Premier League matches since joining the Gunners from Lyon over the summer.

Lacazette is the first Arsenal player to score in his first three home league appearances for the club in the Premier League era, with Brian Marwood in September 1988 the last to do it for the north London outfit.

With the early strike against West Brom, Arsenal have scored in all 23 of their Premier League meetings with the Baggies, which is the best streak against a single opponent in the league.

Lacazette will be hopeful he can replicate his home form with goals away from the Emirates, with his disallowed strike against Stoke City earlier in the campaign the closest he has come to breaking his away-day duck.
