Chelsea v Bayern Munich Betting: Blues capable of battering languishing Die Roten

After kicking off their International Champions Cup campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory over Arsenal, Chelsea will be looking for another impressive performance when they take on Bayern Munich at Singapore’s National Stadium on Tuesday.

Two goals from Michy Batshuayi and one from Willian saw the Blues ease past their Premier League rivals on Saturday, and they’re available at 9/5 (2.80) with bet365 to follow that up with another victory here.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti’s men fell to a chastening 4-0 defeat against Milan in their previous clash, but are on offer at 7/5 (2.40) to bounce back by coming out on top in this one.

Each of the last two encounters between these sides has resulted in a draw, and you can get odds of 12/5 (3.40) on them taking this one to penalties after yet another stalemate.

That thrashing at the hands of the Rossoneri was not the first disappointing pre-season result for the German champions, who lost out on penalties against Arsenal after a 1-1 draw in their opening ICC game.

Although results in friendly matches are rarely taken too seriously, that form does not bode well for a game against Antonio Conte’s consistently impressive team, who have started their pre-season preparations in predictably strong fashion.

Having consigned neighbours Fulham to an eye-catching 8-2 defeat at their Cobham training ground prior to the victory over the Gunners in China, the Premier League champions seem to be picking up where they left off in last season’s record-breaking title campaign.

Bycontrast, Die Roten have struggled to get out of the blocks so far - a situation that cannot have been helped by their late arrival in Singapore and subsequent cancellation of Sunday’s training session.

With new signing Alvaro Morata set to make his debut to strengthen an already formidable Chelsea team, odds of 10/11 (1.91) seem like excellent value on the draw no bet market when they take on a rusty Bayern side.
