Commentary

That is all for today - thanks for tuning in.
Juventus march on into the final four of the Coppa Italia where they will face holders Inter at San Siro. Their next game, though, sees a return to Serie A action as they travel to face Salernitana. Lazio, who sit third in the league, travel to face Verona.
Bremer's first-half header is the difference between the two sides as Juventus win 1-0 against Lazio and advance to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. The Brazilian centre-back beat Lazio keeper Maximiano to the ball to turn home a Kostic cross in the first half after a half of few chances. Kean saw a good chance denied in the second half with Lazio unable to meaningfully test either the Juve defence of Perin in goal as Sarri's side are knocked out of the cup at the quarter-final stage.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: Juventus 1-0 Lazio
90' + 5' Antonio fires in a low effort from the edge of the box after Juve head away a Lazzari cross but the effort is blocked well. Juve, in turn, break with the ball and Kean fires just over from close range but the effort would not have stood as he was in an offside position.
90' + 2' Juve have all 11 men behind the ball as they look to hang on to their lead in the closing stages.
90' There will be five minutes of added time to conclude this second half.
M. De Sciglio
J. Cuadrado
88' Juve turn to their bench again and wing-back Cuadrado is replaced by De Sciglio.
87' Juve have done a good job so far of managing the game in these closing stages. Kostic makes a good forward run, chests the ball and clips it back into the box. The ball just evades Kean who is looking to pounce, unmarked in the box.
Danilo
Yellow Card
83' Danilo is late into a challenge on Zaccagni and receives a yellow card.
83' Juve look to break after Lazio give away the ball cheaply. Miretti plays a searching, cross-field pass which finds Di Maria. The Argentine creates space but his attempted outside-of-the-boot cross sails wide of the post.
80' As we approach the final ten minutes, Lazio have still failed to create a real opening of note but will need to do so soon if they are to stay in the Coppa Italia.
M. Perin
Yellow Card
79' Perin appears to receive a yellow card for timewasting after taking a long time to restart play after the substitutions had been made.
Á. Di María
F. Chiesa
78' Juventus also take the opportunity to make a change. Chiesa went down a few moments ago and he is now replaced by Di Maria.
N. Casale
A. Romagnoli
77' Lazio make another change with Romagnoli off for Casale.
77' Lazio play a free-kick short and left-back Marusic tries his luck from range but his effort is just wide of Perin's post.
76' There is a small break in play as Cuadrado is receiving treatment but the wing-back looks okay to continue.
T. Bašić
Luis Alberto
74' Lazio turn to their bench again, this time with a double change. First off is midfielder Luis Alberto makes way for Basic.
Marcos Antônio
D. Cataldi
74' Antonio also comes on for Lazio in midfield with Cataldi being replaced.
70' SAVE! It's a hopeful ball over the top from Locatelli but it sparks a great chance for Juve. Kean muscles off the retreating Lazio defenders as he bears down on goal but the Italian makes the angle quite narrow for himself and Maximiano is able to keep it out at the near post.
M. Zaccagni
Yellow Card
68' Zaccagni becomes the first Lazio player into the book after a poorly timed challenge from behind as Miretti looks to bring the ball forward for Juve.
67' Juve break well and work the ball quickly from left to right. Miretti and Cuadrado combine well before the ball falls to Locatelli on the edge of the box. The Italian's effort is sweetly hit but straight at Maximiano who saves comfortably.
J. Cuadrado
Yellow Card
65' Zaccagni has the beating of Cuadrado with a nice one-two but the Colombian cynically hauls him back and receives a yellow card for the foul.
F. Miretti
N. Fagioli
64' Midfielder Fagioli also makes way with Miretti on in his place.
M. Kean
D. Vlahović
63' Juventus make their first changes of the night with a double change. First off is Vlahovic with Kean on to replace the forward.
62' Despite having four shots in the second half, Lazio have still only managed one on target and are yet to seriously test Perin in the Juve goal.
S. Milinković-Savić
M. Vecino
59' Lazio make their second change of the match with central midfielder Vecino coming off for Milinkovic-Savic.
56' Lazio have had 66% possession in the last five minutes as they try to pose a greater attacking threat in this second half.
54' Alberto fires a shot from long range but it deflects off a Juve defender before heading out for a corner. Alberto delivers the corner but Sandro rises well to head it away.
52' With Pedro coming on for Immbolie at half time, it looks as though Anderson will now play centrally with the Spaniard operating on the right-hand side.
51' Cataldi tries his luck from long range after Lazio are awarded a free-kick for a handball by Fagioli. The Italian's strike is good but too near to Perin who claims it with ease.
49' Lazio have started the second half on the front foot and looking for an equaliser but they have to be wary of Juve's threat on the break. Chiesa nearly executes a cute lifted ball over the defence to play in Vlahovic but the Lazio defence recovers in time to intercept the effort.
46' Lazio get the second half underway.
Pedro
C. Immobile
46' Lazio make a change at half-time with Immobile coming off for Pedro.
In truth, it was a fairly quiet first half from both sides. Allegri will be happy that his Juve side got that late goal and his side did control the flow and tempo of that first half, which the Italian will be keen to ensure his side continue with after the break. Sarri's Lazio side started positively and looked to get on the ball but have struggled since then to impose themselves on the game and create chances of note. He will be tasked with inspiring an improved second-half performance if Lazio are to mount a comeback in this cup tie.
Bremer's goal on the stroke of halftime has given Juve a 1-0 lead against Lazio in this Coppa Italia quarter-final. Both sides largely struggled to create clear-cut openings despite Zaccagni firing wide and Kostic and Rabiot forcing saves out of Maximiano. That would change in the 44th minute when Bremer beat Maximiano to the ball and connected with a fine Kostic delivery to head Juve into a half-time lead.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: Juventus 1-0 Lazio
45' There will be two minutes of added time here to end the first half.
F. Kostić
Assist
44' Kostic delivers an excellent cross to Bremer who heads home to give Juve the lead.
Bremer
Goal
44' GOOOAAAAALLL!!!! JUVENTUS TAKE THE LEAD!! 1-0!! It is Bremer with the header and Juventus have the lead. Lazio twice fail to clear a corner and Juve are able to keep the ball alive. Kostic's inch-perfect ball finds Bremer, who knicks in front of goalkeeper Maximiano to head into an empty net. There is a VAR check for offside but the goal stands.
41' Moments later and Vlahovic has another chance, this time connecting with a cross from Kostic. The ball, though, is just beyond him and he heads it high over the ball as he stretches back to reach it.
40' Vlahovic finds himself on the ball on the edge of the box but the Juve forward is rushed for time and his left-footed effort is tame and dribbles comfortably wide of the post.
35' Anderson again is on the ball as Lazio try to break up the pitch. Kostic does a good job tracking back and is able to block the attempted cross into the box by the Brazillian.
33' Lazio find their first shooting chance in a while but Anderson's long-range effort is wide as Perin scrambles to cover his right-hand side.
30' Vlahovic has had just nine touches so far in this first half and the Serb is struggling to find a way into the game, a long ball finds him but his control is poor and the ball bounces out for a throw-in.
28' Kostic whips in a delightful cross from the left and it finds Rabiot unmarked in the penalty area. The Frenchman should do better but his header is directed straight at Maximiano who clutches the ball gratefully.
26' Fagioli and Chiesa combine well in and around the edge of the penalty area. The latter receives the ball inside the penalty area and falls to the ground under a challenge from the Lazio defence but Fabio Maresca waves away the appeals.
22' As we reach the halfway point of this first half it remains goalless. There has been just one shot on target from both sides combined and just four touches inside the penalty area.
20' Cuadrado whips a long ball in from the deep on the right-hand side. Juve are able to win the first header but Vlahovic is penalised for a high boot as he tries to contest the second bouncing ball.
15' SAVE! Chances at both ends in quick succession. This time Kostic is able to fashion a good shooting opportunity but his low effort is saved smartly by Maximiano diving down to his left.
14' WIDE! It's a good chance for Lazio but Zaccagni fires wide. Juve give the ball away cheaply in the middle of the park and Immobile finds Anderson. The Italian then dummies the returning pass and Zaccagni has the ball on the edge of the box. He gets the ball onto his favoured right foot but he can't get the ball to bend inside the far post.
12' After their early possession, Lazio have struggled to get on the ball as much in these last few minutes. Chiesa sees a cross deflected behind but his resulting corner is volleyed wide by a back-peddling Vlahovic.
10' A smart ball over the top of the Lazio defence almost plays through Vlahovic but Maximiano is off his line quickly to deny the Serbian forward a shot on goal and clears into the stands for a throw-in.
8' The first half chance of the game falls to Juve. Kostic bursts down the left wing and, although his first cross is blocked, his second finds Cuadrado at the back post but the Colombian's powerful effort is blocked and goes out for a corner which Lazio deal with.
6' As you might expect from a Sarri side, Lazio are keen to get on the ball and dominate possession.
4' It is still the early stages with both sides feeling their way into this cup encounter.
1' Juventus get this first half underway.
The players are coming out and the match is about to begin!
Sarri makes five changes to the Lazio team that drew 1-1 with Fiorentina. In goal, Provedel is replaced by Maximiano while in defence Casale and Hysaj make way for Patric and Lazzari. Milinkovic-Savic drops to the bench with Vecino starting in central midfield and up top Pedro makes way for Immobile.
Allegri opts to make six changes from to his Juve side that lost 2-0 away at Monza on the weekend. In goal Perin comes into the side with Szczesny dropping to the bench. In central defence, Gatti is replaced by Sandro while at right wing-back De Sciglio is replaced by Cuadrado. Locatelli comes into central midfield instead of Paredes and up front, Vlahovic and Chiesa replace Di Maria and Kean.

Lazio, meanwhile, come into this fixture with plenty of optimism and are unbeaten in their last five games. Maurizio Sarri's side knocked out Bologna in the last round courtesy of a Felipe Anderson first-half strike and have beaten Milan and drawn with Fiorentina since then.
Juventus head into this crucial cup fixture in less than impressive form. Besides their 2-1 victory over Monza in the cup, Juve are winless in their league in their last three including a comprehensive 5-1 defeat to Serie A leaders Napoli. Massimiliano Allegri's side will hope a performance tonight could be a springboard for the rest of the league campaign which also sees them languishing in 13th.
