Amakhosi kicked off their Premier Soccer League campaign on a high, securing an away win over Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.

With head coach Nasreddine Nabi absent due to a family emergency, Kaizer Chiefs secured a 2-0 victory over Stellenbosch at Athlone Stadium on Sunday, 10 August. 

Goals from Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, a superb strike, and Glody Lilepo from the penalty spot ensured Amakhosi took maximum points.
