    THE BIGGER PICTURE

McKennie managed to break back into Juventus' first-team this season - where they won the Copa Italia - after falling out of favour the previous campaign and having an unsuccessful loan stint at Leeds United. But ex-Bologna boss Motta reportedly wants to take the team in a new direction, and not rely on the American's energy, versatility, and running ability.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

McKennie joined Juventus in the summer of 2020 from Schalke, before the Italian side turned his loan spell into a permanent deal in March 2021. During his time with the Old Lady, he has made 134 appearances in all competitions and scored eight goals. He has also won the Coppa Italia twice and the Supercoppa Italiana once.
