    WHAT HAPPENED?

Mamelodi Sundowns played Esperance on Tuesday in the first leg of the Caf Champions League outing staged at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Masandawana won the game by a solitary goal scored by Peter Shalulile after some fine work from Lucas Ribeiro and Jayden Adams.

However, it did not end well as both sets of fans were involved in hooliganism after the game.

    WHAT NEXT?

Sundowns risk a fine from Caf by failing to provide enough security in the stadium.

If the situation is not dealt with properly, the same incident might re-occur when the two teams meet again in the second leg in Tunisia.

All parties have to pull together to avoid it.
