    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs fervent fan and South African actor Wiseman Mncube has shared a humorous joke after Amakhosi's Premier Soccer League triumph over Stellenbosch FC.

The Soweto giants came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory at the FNB Stadium last Wednesday, thanks to goals from the club's academy graduate Wandile Duba.

As a result, the award-winning actor, Mncube, posted a lighthearted video on his Instagram page, which shows his joy following Chiefs' win.

"I'm pleading with you all not to make noise as I'm putting the small child to sleep following its brilliant job. It deserves a love and peaceful sleep," Mncube jokingly said.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The victory against Stellenbosch lifted Chiefs to fifth position in the PSL standings after 12 matches. They have gathered 18 points to date, with five wins, three draws, and four losses.

This was a much-needed reprieve for Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi, who has faced pressure due to recent poor performances.

The Tunisian coach has been given the responsibility of turning around the fortunes of the Naturena-based giants, who have not claimed significant trophies in a decade.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHIEFS?

Chiefs will be aiming to make it two consecutive wins when they clash against Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

A victory in KwaZulu-Natal could delight Mncube and other Amakhosi supporters further and encourage them to continue supporting Nabi and his team.
