    WHAT HAPPENED?

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was invilved in a road traffic accident on July 31, a few hours after the Buccaneers beat Chippa United 3-0 in a Premier Soccer League match.

The incident led to the Moroccan being hospitalised but he has since recovered.

Ouaddou was spotted attending Pirates' training session at Rand Stadium on Tuesday while wearing a sling to support his heavily bandaged right arm.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Pirates are preparing to face Stellenbosch in the MTN8 final at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.

They are chasing a fourth-straight Nedbank Cup title, after Ouaddou's predecessor Jose Riveiro guided them to three straight top-eight crowns.

Also spotted at Rand Stadium participating in full training was Thabiso Sesane who appears to have recovered from an injury which had ruled him out for several months.
