WATCH: Huge signing by TS Galaxy as World Cup star and ex-AC Milan midfielder joins the Rockets after successful spell in Italian Serie A

TS Galaxy Queens have been making massive steps in the Women's Super League.

In their bid to compete with the likes of heavyweight Mamelodi Sundown Ladies, they have added some interesting names to their squad.

They have confirmed the signing of eight players in the ongoing campaign.

Among the new faces are Banyana Banyana midfielder Refiloe Jane, who has been plying trade in Italy.

She was turning out for Sassuolo - after leaving AC Milan, until recently.

Apart from playing for Banyana Banyana in the recent Fifa Women's World Cup, Jane was part of the national team that won the 2022 Wafcon.

Leandra Smeda is another player who has been brought on board.

She has a lot of experience, having played in Europe; she has even played in the Uefa Women's Champions League.

Her recent team was RCD Espanyol, and she has also been playing for Banyana Banyana.

In 2023, TS Galaxy Queens finished fourth in the Women's Super League.

A year later, they secured a bronze in the annual Pirates Cup.

The team will now be aiming at challenging for top honours, thanks to the new plates signed.
