WATCH - Bafana Bafana vs Zimbabwe rivalry renewed in English Premier League! Marshall Munetsi scores for Wolverhampton Wanderers, but his ex-Orlando Pirates teammate Lyle Foster has the last laugh after grabbing Burnley's winning goal

The Premier League served up a Southern African showdown as Bafana Bafana’s Foster and Zimbabwe’s Munetsi both found the net in the match between Wolves and Burnley. Munetsi struck first for the home side, but it was Foster who sealed the deal with a late winner at Molineux Stadium on Sunday, 26 October.

    Ex-Pirates duo shine in EPL clash

    Zian Flemming struck twice early to give Burnley a 2–0 lead, but Wolves hit back through a Jørgen Strand Larsen penalty and a Marshall Munetsi header before half-time.  

    The game looked set for a draw until Lyle Foster came off the bench to score a dramatic 95th-minute winner, sealing Burnley’s first away win of the English Premier League season.

    What comes next?

    While Foster and Munetsi continue to shine in the Premier League, both will have one eye on December as the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off.  

    Zimbabwe face a tough opener against Egypt, while South Africa take on Angola. The Southern African giants begin their continental quests on 22 December.
