    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs failed, once again, to collect maximum points last weekend as they threw away a slim lead to draw 1-1 with TS Galaxy in the Premier Soccer League outing.

Youngster Wandile Duba was on target for the fifth time this season, only to see Mlungisi Mbunjana deny Amakhosi maximum points with 10 minutes to go.

Duba almost broke his leg as he battled to get first on the rebound after Gaston Sirino had missed a massive chance.

The versatile attacker concedes the mentality at the club has improved, before revealing his commitment to the Glamour Boys.

    WHAT DUBA SAID

"I had to score, [against TS Galaxy] the coach started me because he was confident that I could score goals," he told the media.

"Mistakes happen in football, I'm sure next time I cross the ball, [Gaston Sirino] will be able to score. It's something we have to fix at training.

"I could even have broken my leg for us to at least get the goal. We really needed the three points.

"The mentality has changed; it's just that we lose concentration during the game. But it's those small mistakes," Duba concluded.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Duba has proved he has what it takes to make a difference for the Glamour Boys.

The Chiefs' academy graduate missed a good number of matches owing to an injury, but his versatility and effectiveness in the final third make him a regular ahead of players who have been fit throughout.

With Tashreeq Morris expected to return soon, coach Nasreddine Nabi might opt to play Duba on the wing.
