    WHAT HAPPENED?

    The former Orlando Pirates star shone on the big stage, scoring Wydad Casablanca’s first Fifa Club World Cup goal after they went 2-0 down on Sunday. 

    The Moroccan giants had conceded an own goal by Abdelmounaim Boutouil and a strike from Kenan Yildiz.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Wydad went on to suffer a 4-1 defeat to Juventus, who added two second-half goals through Dusan Vlahovic and the brace hero Yildiz.

    In their Fifa Club World Cup opener, the Red Castle suffered a 2-0 defeat to English Premier League giants Manchester City.

    Lorch, who is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, has been Wydad's top performer in the global tournament.

    WHAT’S NEXT?

    Wydad will be eliminated from the competition if Manchester City avoid a defeat against Al Ain of the UAE in another Group G clash on Monday.

    The Red Castle will wrap up their Group G campaign with a clash against Al Ain on Thursday.
