    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Weah was handed an opportunity from the opening whistle by manager Thiago Motta on Tuesday after impressing at the weekend, scoring the match-winner against AC Milan in Serie A action. However, the U.S. international was flat-footed, and struggled to bring any attacking momentum to the contest.

Weah did however, complete 24 of 25 passes while playing right wing, recording 38 touches of the ball as well. He completed zero successful dribbles and zero successful crosses across five combined attempts, though, prompting his removal midway through the second half.

As a result of their draw Tuesday, the Old Lady rest on 12 points through six matches.
