THE BIGGER PICTURE
Zwane has been injured since October 2024 and Masandawana were delaying in offering a new deal to see his recovery process.
Now, the Bafana Bafana vice-captain is already involved in full training and the club sees a future in him.
However, at 35, the Brazilians could not commit to tabling a long-term deal.

WHAT NEXT FOR ZWANE?
Now that he knows where he stands with Sundowns, Zwane is almost sure to feature at the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup should injury not strike again.
Interestingly, he is yet to feature in an official match under Miguel Cardoso, who was appointed Sundowns coach in December 2024.
