The Sea Robbers booked their spot in the MTN8 semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Polokwane City on Saturday, 2 August.

Goals from debutant Oswin Appollis and Patrick Maswanganyi secured a vital win for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side, keeping Orlando Pirates in the hunt to retain their MTN8 crown.

It was a spirited showing from the Buccaneers, who, under the guidance of their new head coach, also gave fans at Orlando Stadium a first look at several fresh signings.

Following the win, Ouaddou made his ambitions clear, he wants to go all the way, which sparked a flurry of reactions from fans online.
