    WHAT HUNT SAID

“Financially, we’re not going to sign them. Those players [Keagan Dolly and Sibusiso Vilakazi] are training, there are not so many clubs that do that,” said Hunt as per FARPost.

“They have served the game well, our squad is so small, so they add numbers to make it seven versus seven. Otherwise, we’re five versus five in training and in small games."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Both Dolly and Vilakazi will no doubt be disappointed at being reduced to training aids at SuperSport United.

However, they are at least maintaining their fitness so they can hit the ground running if an opportunity comes their way.

For Hunt, having two such experienced players in the training group must benefit his squad as they prepare to turn their fortunes around.

SuperSport have been struggling this season with just one win in seven games across all competitions.
