    THE BIGGER PICTURE

This is the fifth time for Amajita to qualify for the Under-20 World Cup, having last been there in 2019.

In the four previous times they have been at this global tournament, they have reached the knockouts just once after making it to the Round of 16 in 2009.

This is a target that Mdaka and his boys would be pushing to surpass this time around.

    WHAT NEXT?

At the World Cup, Mdaka will be hoping to have players who missed the Under-20 Cup Africa of Nations, like Shandre Campbell and Orlando Pirates defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

This is a tournament at which there will be high expectations on Amajita, who arrive as African champions.
