    TELL ME MORE

After 20 minutes, Siwelele took the lead when Siviwe Magidigidi bundled home from close range following Vincent Pule’s saved header. Just a minute later, the Premier Soccer League debutants doubled their advantage as Pule capitalised on an Arrows’ error, slotting the ball in from a tight angle. It was a frustrating half for Arrows, who trailed 2-0 at the break.

However, in the second half, Siwelele were caught off guard. In the 49th minute, Keenan Phillips rose above the defence and flicked the ball off his shoulder into the net, giving Arrows renewed hope at 2-1.

Siwelele restored their two-goal advantage courtesy of a towering header from Magidigidi, who earned his brace after heading home Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates-linked Neo Rapoo's corner-kick. The Bloemfontein side kept up the pressure throughout, but the 3-1 scoreline was enough to secure all three points in their opening league match of the 2025/26 season.
