The experienced striker scored twice as Babina Noko outclassed Chiefs in a Premier Soccer League game on Tuesday. The 3-1 win saw Sekhukhune United keep their unbeaten run but end Chiefs'.
“It feels great, I’ve got to be honest. I haven’t trained in the last four days. I had a chest infection and a throat infection, so I arrived at camp late yesterday and played; it went well," Grobler told SuperSport TV.
"In the first half, we could have done more, but credit to the boys, you know, the fighting spirit, and the game plan from the coach was top-notch. Credit to the team," he added.
"Look, sometimes scoring against teams that four, five, or six years ago told you you were old and past your prime feels good. It feels good to be scoring against these teams.
"I am very happy about the team; you know, I think tonight was a big performance and a performance that is going to make people take us a bit more seriously.
"But we do not want to put ourselves under pressure, but want to win every game, and we would like to fight for the league."
