    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Mamelodi Sundowns, Bafana Bafana, Ronwen Williams and Hugo Broos all made the shortlists ahead of the upcoming Caf Awards.

    Williams is the player with the most nominations (three) having enjoyed a successful year with both Sundowns and Bafana.

    Caf made the announcements regarding the men's nominations on Monday evening;

    WHAT IS NEXT?

    The 2024 Caf Awards will take place on December 16 in Marrakech, Morocco, which is a day after Sundowns play Raja Casablanca in a Champions League match in Pretoria.

    The event covers the period between January 2024 and October 2024.
