Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois sent out a heartwarming message to Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen after his horrific injury against Villarreal.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper set aside rivalry to wish a speedy recovery to Barcelona custodian Ter Stegen who suffered a horror knee injury on Sunday. The Germany international was carried off on a stretcher in tears during the Catalan club's 5-1 win over Villarreal.

Right after the match, RAC1 had reported that Ter Stegen could be ruled out of action for up to eight months which would potentially end his season and on Monday, after carrying out tests, Barcelona confirmed that the goalkeeper has a complete rupture in the patella.
WHAT COURTOIS SAID
Taking to X, the 32-year-old wrote: "I'm sorry about the injury [Ter Stegen], it really hurts to see you leave the field like that. I hope you can recover soon and we can see you in goal again."
