    WHAT HAPPENED?

TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has backed his former forward Kamogelo Sebelebele to succeed at Orlando Pirates.

Beganovic says the Bafana Bafana forward deserves the transfer to Bucs, and holds the belief that his story is going to be a success at the Soweto giants.

    WHAT BEGANOVIC SAID

"He deserves to sign that contract because he has been with the club [Galaxy] for five years. He is an amazing human being, and the next step for him is to join a club like Pirates," Beganovic told Sowetan Live.

"He made a good decision to join Pirates because he can still improve there, because there is everything he needs there. And I think he will get game time there because he is a complete soccer player," he added.

"There is a new coach there, and when the club believes in you, you will be successful ... he has skills, and I believe he will be successful."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Sebelebele is the latest signing confirmed by Pirates, who have been quite busy in the market.

In a bid to build a competitive side, Bucs have brought on board Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Abdoulaye Mariko, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, and Oswin Appollis.

The restructuring process saw Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm, Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Phillip Ndlondlo, and Monnapule Saleng leave.

During the pre-season trip in Spain, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou tried several formations and match structures in a bid to try and get his new players to gel with the others.

    WHAT NEXT FOR SEBELEBELE?

After shining for Galaxy, Sebelebele attracted suitors and ended up signing for the Sea Robbers.

At Bucs, his primary target is to fight hard and break into the starting XI and also become a regular. This challenge is not going to be easy, given the stiff competition he will face from the squad rivals, all fighting for Ouaddou's attention.
