    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Orlando Pirates have been among the busiest clubs in the ongoing Transfer Window ahead of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League season.

    They made changes by releasing Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm, Paseka Mako, and Thabiso Monyane, who they deemed surplus to requirements.

    Bucs have already confirmed they will be in Spain for pre-season to ensure players get the best preparations for the busy campaign.

    Former Marumo Gallants coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was appointed as the new tactician to replace Jose Riveiro who left for Al Ahly.

    They followed up with the arrival of highly-rated Bafana Bafana international midfielder Sipho Mbule who was let go by Mamelodi Sundowns.

    In their bid to have a stronger squad to challenge for the Premier Soccer League and other domestic competitions, the Buccaneers, who will also compete in the Caf Champions League, have announced the arrival of seven more players.

    "After weeks of speculation and countless headlines across the football social media landscape, Orlando Pirates Football Club can officially confirm the signings of Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay), Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)," the Soweto giants confirmed.

    "The new crop of players will join their new teammates later this [Thursday] morning for Day 1 of preseason."
