Orlando Pirates legend Edward 'Magents' Motale has revealed the heart-to-heart conversation he had with the club's new signing, Sipho Mbule.
Motale said he will not entertain criticism against Mbule because some of the critics do not know the former SuperSport United midfielder and just believe rumours.

"He has come to an institution, where he's going to learn a lot of things. We're not going to entertain (negativity); some of the people (who criticise) don't even know Sipho and just believe in hearsay," Motale told Soccer Laduma.
"I spoke to the boy. Even though I didn't know him personally, we spoke and understood each other," the former Bafana Bafana defender added.
"I told him what Pirates is, the expectations you get, and what is expected of him. Teams are not the same. You can't compare Sekhukhune to Pirates. I didn't even want to know what happened at Sekhukhune, because that's not our baby."

However, Motale warned Mbule that Bucs' fans expect instant results, and this comes with pressure.
"But me, I just told him all about Pirates, the demands at the club, and the expectations from Pirates supporters, because Sekhukhune supporters are not many; he must know that here each game is packed," Motale warned.
"Pirates is not a team to say, 'Let's give him time to adjust.' There's no such thing as acclimatising here; when they give you the jersey, you need to deliver," 'Magents' revealed.

Pirates have been on a signing spree, and Mbule is one of the high-profile players they have signed so far.
Oswin Appollis, who was signed from Polokwane City, is also regarded as a quality acquisition, and now it is upon head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou to integrate the new one and the old squad and come up with a competitive squad.
A glimpse of what Pirates will look like under the Moroccan tactician will be seen during the pre-season in Marbella, Spain.
BackpageWHAT NEXT FOR MBULE?
Mbule should take the signing by Pirates as a career lifeline given what he has undergone before.
He was linked with a number of off-pitch issues at Sekhukhune United, and Mamelodi Sundowns terminated his contract when he returned from his loan stint.
At Pirates, where there is equal or more pressure than at Sundowns, Mbule must pull up his socks and ensure he becomes a superstar, as many believe he is talented.
