"Personally, I would not retain Nabi. One, as a coach, show us who you are with the type of football you want to play; it will tell us what type of person you are. One or two games, he started as if he wanted to build from the back, but when you're doing something you're not used to, at some point you'll be confused," Vilakazi told Omniaudioafrica YouTube Channel, as quoted bySoccer Laduma.
"What is disappointing me about Nabi is I don't know what type of football he really wants to play; I'd be lying. The only switch I think he did and worked for Chiefs is when he moved (Wandile) Duba from wing to striker," he added.
"Other than that, I don't see him bringing the best out of Chiefs players. For me, there's no Chiefs player that has risen to the occasion to say, maybe, Player of the Season, Midfielder of the Season, or Defender of the Season. For me, a team like the Chiefs—it is a mustat at the end of the season you have at least one player nominated. For me, I'd say, 'Nabi, you saved us from ten years without a trophy, but thank you very much," Vilakazi concluded.
