Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou told to forget MTN8 glory, as PSL and CAF Champions League are the main priority
BackpagePirates' priority explained
Former Orlando Pirates forward Andries Sebola has asked head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou to forget his MTN8 achievement and focus on the Premier Soccer League and CAF Champions League.
The former Bucs star believes a poor performance in the PSL will see the coach get more criticism because Pirates are expected to perform better in the league and in Africa.

Sebola's advice for Ouaddou
"The coach is still new, and there is a long way to go. He must forget about Saturday's win; it's now history," Sebola said, as per KickOff.
"He needs to concentrate on the next two matches. If he loses those, you will see a strong reaction from the supporters," he added.
"At Pirates, we want results – that is the only thing that matters. It's the same at Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs – results are expected week in and week out."

Where should Bucs' focus be?
The former Sea Robber believes even though the MTN8 achievement is good, the bigger priority for the Soweto giants remains the PSL and Champions League.
"The league is the top priority for Pirates this season, or maybe the Champions League. Domestic cup wins are something Pirates achieve every season," Sebola explained.
"Therefore, what matters most is the league and the Champions League. Those should be where he focuses his attention. Without either of those titles, I can see him leaving the club at the end of the season."
BackpageWill criticism fade?
When the season started and Pirates lost their two opening games, Ouaddou was a man under pressure, as he was criticised and his capability to guide Pirates was questioned.
Without a doubt, if Bucs had lost the MTN8 title, the pressure would have increased tenfold, but again, for some, he needs to prove himself beyond the domestic competition.
His predecessor, Jose Riveiro, wrote a successful history in MTN8 but fell short in PSL and Champions League.
