The Buccaneers laboured to a narrow win in the midweek league assignment against the Chilli Boys.

Orlando Pirates defeated Chippa United by a solitary goal in the Premier Soccer League fixture staged at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday night.

Nkosinathi Sibisi headed home Relebohile Mofokeng's corner to give the Soweto giants maximum points.

However, Bucs were not convincing with their display despite the win that cut Mamelodi Sundowns' gap to 16 points.
