The Sea Robbers' hope of a win in the first leg of the second preliminary encounter was dealt a blow after conceding three goals to nil. The Soweto giants now stare at a possible elimination at the early stages of the continental competition.

Orlando Pirates have put themselves in a complicated position in the CAF Champions League after a 3-0 defeat against Saint-Eloi Lupopo FC on Sunday. 

Pirates, who have been on a winning momentum, were stunned by the DR Congo side, who won and put themselves in a rather good position to progress to the group stage.

Bucs, last season's semi-finalists, will need a near miracle to beat their rivals and progress in order to avoid early elimination.
