Former Orlando Pirates assistant coach and co-coach Fadlu Davids has confirmed he is leaving Tanzania Premier League giants Simba SC.
In his farewell message, Davids has cited how he has developed a close relationship with the club and that Wekundu wa Msimbazi will be part of him forever.

"It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Simba SC," Davids said in a statement.
"From the moment I arrived, I felt the passion of this great club and the love of its incredible fans. Together we fought, celebrated, and grew stronger through every victory and every challenge," he added.
"Simba will always be part of me, and I wish the club endless success, prosperity, and trophies ahead."
BackpageMessage to players and fans
"My deepest gratitude to President Mo Dewji for his inspiring leadership, vision, and constant support," he stated.
"To the players: keep fighting, keep believing, and keep lifting the badge with honour.
To the staff and management: thank you for your trust and tireless dedication behind the scenes."
To the Simba fans: you are the heartbeat of this club. Your voices, your songs, and your unwavering passion will forever echo in my memory. Thank you for welcoming my family as your own."
Where to?
The former Maritzburg United tactician has already been confirmed as the new coach by Raja Casablanca, a club he served as an assistant coach before he was appointed by Simba.
Nabi had been linked with the North African outfit, but Davids has finally replaced Lassad Chabbi.
BackpageTime of departure
Davids has left Simba as the 2025/26 season is about to begin, and fans are ambitious for a better campaign than what they have endured before.
However, the tactician found himself under more scrutiny when Simba were beaten by their archrivals, Young Africans, in the Community Shield on September 16. This was Simba's sixth consecutive defeat at the hands of their Dar es Salaam rivals.
Leading the East Africans to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup last season will, however, remain one of the hallmarks of his time in Tanzania.
Davids left his compatriots and ex-Mamelodi Sundowns duo Rushine De Reuck and Neo Maema at Simba having brought them to the club last month.
His last game in charge was a 1-0 Champions League game against Botswana's Gaborone United on Saturday.
